What does the Front Carbon platform do?

Our platform is the modelling platform behind our advisory. It structures downstream CCS logistics into one connected model, so teams can compare options, test sensitivities and align on a decision baseline.

It turns fragmented inputs into structured outputs: comparable logistics cases, a full cost-stack view, fleet and infrastructure requirements, bottleneck and robustness insights, and a decision report delivered through a client portal. The same model can mature across phases, from early concept screening to operational planning. See the platform overview for the full picture.

Who is Front Carbon for?

Front Carbon is built for stakeholders shaping CCS value chains: industrial emitters, project developers and transport-and-storage providers, transport and logistics operators, and investors or diligence teams. Each uses the same structured view of downstream CCS logistics to compare options, understand risk and align decisions.

Emitters clarify the route from capture to storage and cost-to-serve; developers and T&S providers design scalable logistics and storage solutions; transport and logistics providers build credible logistics concepts; and investors assess robustness before capital is committed. It provides an independent, structured view across the project lifecycle.

How does Front Carbon model CO₂ transport cost?

Front Carbon brings every cost-driving assumption, conditioning, loading, transport, terminals, hubs, buffers and storage interfaces, into one comparable baseline. It compares shipping, pipeline, truck and rail using the same case logic, showing how route and asset choices affect cost, capacity, flexibility and risk.

Cost is built up across the full chain rather than estimated top-down, so teams can see where cost is created and test how it shifts under different volumes, ramp-up profiles, seasonality and scenarios. The model is parameterised, with assumptions that can be traced, challenged and adjusted.

Can I buy Front Carbon as a self-serve product?

No. Our platform sits behind our advisory, not a self-serve product. Clients receive their results in it as part of an engagement. For a self-serve product, see the CCS Map; to discuss a project, email us.

Access comes with advisory work: we run your project through the model and you receive structured reports and a client portal. For self-serve exploration of the European CO₂ value chain, see CCS Map. To talk about an engagement, email post@frontcarbon.com.

How do I get access to Front Carbon?

Existing clients sign in to the client portal to view their results. New clients get access as part of an advisory engagement: share your project context, CO₂ volumes, locations and key constraints by email, and we will frame the question and define the right next step.

Reach us at post@frontcarbon.com to start a conversation, or sign in if you already have a client account. Looking for a self-serve data product instead? See CCS Map.
